Pycnogenol
Derived from the bark of the French maritime pine, pycnogenol is actually a group of compounds that have been shown to stimulate the activity of the enzyme responsible for converting arginine to nitric oxide. The combination of pycnogenol and arginine is believed to work synergistically to improve vascular endothelial function and presumably erection dynamics. A three month study of Bulgarian men showed that this combination, especially when pycnogenol was increased, dramatically improved normal erections from 5% to 92.5%. Pygeum Pygeum is a tall evergreen native to central and southern Africa. Pygeum bark has been used since ancient times to treat urinary problems. It doesn’t appear to work by affecting the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. Pygeum is known as an herbal treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH,Cheapest Cialis). Pygeum appears to be non-toxic. When taken correctly, pygeum is considered one of the safest herbs used for male health, and often is combined with saw palmetto for maximum results. Side effects include mild digestive distress. Spanish fly It doesn’t originate from a fly, but made from the cantharides beetle, also known as the blister beetle. The name comes from an intense irritant generated as a defense mechanism. The beetles are collected, killed, dried and powdered, and the result is called Spanish fly. Cantharides is a natural inflammatory agent that can burn the mouth and throat, cause abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and kidney damage – even in small doses. It also strongly irritates the genito-urinary tract, and sex is one way to calm that itch. As little as one thousandth of an ounce of the active chemical in cantharides is sufficient to cause kidney failure and death, making it one of the most dangerous substances ever to be associated with sexuality. It is classified medically as a Class One poison and a blistering agent. Fortunately, it is also illegal nearly worldwide.
